Meet Douglas Dufault

Douglas Dufault joins Bush & Bush Law Group as its Massachusetts Senior Litigation Attorney. Doug is a seasoned Massachusetts civil litigator with over 30 years’ experience handling a wide variety of complex personal injury cases in both state and federal courts, including serious motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice claims, wrongful death and premises liability claims. His experience handling injury cases also extends to Social Security Disability, Accidental Disability Retirement and Workers’ Compensation third-party claims.
Formerly an associate with Wynn & Wynn, P.C. in Bristol County, Massachusetts and Bennett& Forts, P.C. in Worcester County, Massachusetts, he has practice experience in both large and small firm settings. As an attorney running his own practice for over two decades, Doug has always prided himself in providing prompt, professional and competent legal services and advice, both inside and outside the courtroom.
Doug is a graduate of the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1989 and a graduate of the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts where he was awarded his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1992. His state and federal bar admissions include Massachusetts (1992), Rhode Island (1993), U.S. Federal Court, District of Massachusetts (1993) and U.S. Federal Court, District of Rhode Island (2010). Doug has also argued appellate cases before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, as well as the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
Outside of the office, Doug enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially his beautiful wife Christine and their daughters, traveling domestically and abroad, cooking “gourmet” meals and watching or attending the games of all of his beloved New England professional sports teams
